Amy Parkin
Amy Parkin is a freelance writer from Yorkshire, England. She is particularly interested in history, psychology and theology. She has written for The Testimony magazine and is also a regular contributor to the Faith Alive! magazine. Having just spent two years living in Germany, she is about to return to Cardiff University to complete the final year of her BA degree in German and Music, where she will continue to specialise in German history and philosophy, alongside work in the fields of composition and analysis. Her inquisitive nature and eagerness to share her knowledge with those around her shine through in her writing. Her passion and flair led to her winning the Marieke Gillespie Prize in 2009 for her outstanding essay about the pressure to conform in Germany during the Second World War.
